Weekly Music List

OK, I know its been more than a week but without further delay, here's the playlist for the week. Now remember I don't want you just to listen to the songs I post here, click on the artist so you can check out not only the album the song comes from but check out their discography. On bandcamp its located on the side, on soundcloud you have to go to the artist's profile page.
On to the list:
First up we have one of the most innovative MC's to come out of the Cali hip hop scene. Del The Funky Homosapien started in the 90's with his own crew Hieroglyphics. He was instrumental in bringing the Oakland underground hip hop scene to the forefront of performance hip hop. I first met Del at a rave in Detroit, right under the Ambassador bridge, somewhere. Back then Del was into his japanese video games and manga. Here is his latest endeavor with help from some of his crew. I got the chance to see the Souls of Mischief at the Rock the Bells festival in New York and this reminded me of how dope this crew is.

Next up is a cat named Praverb who is bringing back the conscious hip hop music. He does a series named Behind the Beats. This is a link to volume two, but you should check out the other volumes, good stuff here.

Ok for the next one its a video...which I don't usually do, but this song is ridiculous. Camp Lo with Pete Rock, "80 Blocks from Tiffany's". Real hip hop all day..

Had to post this video because I was at the Rock the Bells festival that this video was filmed at. Pretty funny stuff. Random Axe = Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, and Sean Price. Song is amazing along with the album. Get up on them.

Next up is the MC Blueprint, and his new song named "clouds". This cat is from Ohio and has been in the game for a while with RJD2, Soul Position put out a couple of albums. This comes from 'print's live performance in Wisconsin. If you don't know about this cat, or any of the artists here, check my twitter page for twitter addys or use google dummy.
